Biography

Dr. Martin focuses on e-business development, electronic prescribing standards, and continuing medical education at Pfizer. Prior to joining the company in 2001, he worked as a house physician in obstetrics, as a consultant in managed care and medical informatics, and as a professional writer. His publications include Essential Informatics for Medical Groups, a monthly newsletter he edited for the MGMA and Aspen Publishers. Dr. Martin received his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati and a master's degree in health services administration from Xavier University. He also won an NIH fellowship in medical informatics at Harvard and MIT's Division of Health Sciences & Technology.
