Biography

Dr. Leape is Adjunct Professor of Health Policy at the Harvard School of Public Health. He was a member of the Quality of Health Care in America Committee of the Institute of Medicine, whose 1999 report, "To Err is Human" stimulated increased governmental and private sector attention to patient safety.
