Biography

Onelia G. Lage M.D. is Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatrics and Director of Adolescent Medical Education and Community Health in the Division of Adolescent Medicine/Department of Pediatrics at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine (UMMSOM). She is the first Hispanic woman and first pediatrician to serve as Chair of the Florida Board of Medicine (2010). Dr. Lage is also a member of the Minority Womens Health Panel of Experts of the Office of Women’s Health/U.S. Health and Human Services and on the Board of Directors of the National Hispanic Medical Association.
