Biography
Lori Laffel, M.D., M.P.H., is Chief of the Joslin's Pediatric, Adolescent and Young Adult Section, an Investigator in the Section on Genetics and Epidemiology at Joslin, and an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. Under her leadership, the Pediatric Section has tripled in size along with the development of a large pediatric research program. Dr. Laffel's interests focus on preventing acute and chronic complications of diabetes, and preserving the health and quality of life of children, adolescents and young adults with diabetes.
