Biography

Mechelle Krause is a certified wound care consultant in a Magnet-designated community hospital at Northwestern Medicine. She received her bachelors in nursing from Chamberlain College and holds national certifications in both wound care management and ostomy care. In her role as a wound care consultant, Mechelle works closely with the healthcare team in both the inpatient and outpatient setting providing staff education and connecting them to the best practices in the field of wound care management. Mechelle also has a background in advanced wound therapy with the use of negative pressure wound therapy providing clinical education and client support.
