Biography

Lisa M. Kopas is from San Antonio, Texas, where she graduated summa cum laude from the University of Texas at San Antonio. While raising a family, she attended Baylor College of Medicine graduating in 2003. She remained at Baylor for Internal Medicine Residency finishing in 2006. Dr. Kopas continued her training at Baylor with a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine. During the fellowship, she completed research in the area of pulmonary hypertension. In recognition of her achievements, she was chosen to be the chief fellow of the section.
