Biography

Dr. Carl Knopke is the Medical Director of Inland Empire Weight Loss in Riverside, California. He is board certified in Obesity and Family Medicine. Since 2004, he has maintained an active private practice in Family Medicine and has been active in Obesity Medicine since 2007. He is an assistant professor of Family Medicine at the University of California Riverside School of Medicine. He has served as a member of the Board of Trustees for the Obesity Medicine Association (OMA) and he has intermittently given the Behavioral Therapy and Epidemiology and Determinants of Obesity lectures for the OMA board preparation course for Obesity Medicine certification. His primary medical interests include treating diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and arthritis using both medical and behavioral therapy approaches.
