Biography

Dr. Kern is Director of the Division of General Internal Medicine at the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center (JHBMC) and Associate Professor of Medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He has an interest in musculoskeletal medicine, teaches diagnosis and management of back pain in Evidence-Based Medicine rotation for residents at JHBMC and authors the chapter Should and Elbow Pain for the text, Principles of Ambulatory Medicine.
