Biography

Dr. Kaplan is Director of the MGH Weight Center and Director of the Obesity Research Center at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) , and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. He is also a gastroenterologist and molecular biologist and Associate Chief for Research of the MGH Gastrointestinal Unit. Dr. Kaplan is currently Director of the Advanced Biomedical Sciences Program at Harvard Medical School and Associate Editor of the journals Obesity Research and Clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology.
