Biography

Dr. Iezzoni is Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Co-Director of Research in the Division of General Medicine and Primary Care, Department of Medicine, at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. A 1996 recipient of the Investigator Award in Health Policy Research from The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, she is studying health policy issues relating to persons with disabilities. Dr. Iezzoni's most recent book, When Walking Fails, will be published in the spring 2003.
