Biography
Dr. Heldman is Associate Professor of Medicine and Director of Interventional Cardiology Innovation and Research at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Heldman is an interventional cardiologist, expert in high-risk and complex coronary angioplasty. His research program developed the first effective drug-eluting stent. Current investigation focuses on delivery strategies for stem therapy for cardiac muscle repair.
