Biography

Robert E. Heinig M.D. is Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY and Head of the Endocrine Unit at Rochester General Hospital. Dr. Heinig attended the University of Oregon Medical School and completed a Residency program at the University of Rochester and received postgraduate training in Endocrinology at the University of Rochester. He is Board Certified in the areas of: Internal Medicine, Endocrinology/Metabolism, and Nephrology. Dr. Heinig is an active member of the American Diabetes Association.
