Biography
Dr. Matthew Freeby is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine and the Associate Director of Diabetes Clinical Programs and UCLA. He is also the Director of the UCLA Diabetes Center of Santa Monica. He and his team evaluate quality measures within the health system with the aim to improve diabetes care. He has led or been involved in studies evaluating in vivo beta cell mass as well as stem cells for the treatment of diabetes.
