Michael Fordis, MD is the Senior Associate Dean for Continuing Professional Development and founding director of the Center for Collaborative and Interactive Technologies (CCIT) including the Division of Continuing Professional Development, the Division of Digital Health Innovation, and the Institute for Continuing Professional Development in Quality Improvement and Patient Safety, at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Dr. Fordis’ interests focus on applying information technologies to healthcare provider and patient learning, decision making, behavioral change, quality improvement, and clinical decision support.
