Biography

Dr. Calderwood is Chief of the Division of Infectious Diseases at Massachusetts General Hospital and Professor of Medicine (Microbiology and Molecular Genetics) at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Calderwood is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, the Infectious Diseases Society of America, and the American Academy of Microbiology. He is the current President of the Massachusetts Infectious Disease Society, and is on the Governor's Bioterrorism Coordinating Council and the State Bioterrorism Preparedness and Response Program Advisory Committee and State Bioterrorism Hospital Preparedness Program Advisory Committee for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
