• Discuss the barriers to implementing HIV prevention that is >99% effective in preventing the acquisition of HIV infection including:
○ Decreased knowledge and awareness of PrEP by PCPs
○ Patient lack of perception of HIV risk
○ Stigma from HCPs or family/partners/friends
○ Distrust of HCPs/systems
○ Perceived access and costs of PrEP
